The students are finishing their year in readers' workshop with an author study on Bill Peet. The students and I stumbled upon this author and have been loving his books ever since. Peet wrote and illustrated books with creativity and imagination that captures the students' interest while still teaching valuable lessons. Check out his website for more information.
