Web 2.0 Technologies
This year I have tried to incorporate many web 2.0 technologies into my classroom. This have included this blog, our bookmarking site, delicious.com, and voicethread.com, which is explained in the previous post. My main reason for wanting to use web 2.0 technologies is to continue to best meet the needs of the diverse learners I teach. My hope is that the use of web 2.0 technologies will sustain the attention of my students who have grown up surrounded by digital material. I hope that these new technologies will allow them to further access the curriculum and better share their learning with each other, myself, and their parents.

I think this has been GREAT... these kids are learning and growing up in a much different environment than we did... to recognize these changes and keep up with them makes all the diffrence. Thanks! : )
