Math
Nandika- "we learned our doubles facts."
Faye- "We played Alien Addition on the computers."

Reading
Brady- "We did a turn and talk.  We talked about the strategies we used during reading."
Emily- "In phonics we are doing our sound drills."


Writing
Dan- "Today we had poetry Friday.  We picked poems from the Poet-Tree."
Cooper- "We published our poet's eyes poems."
Vivian- "Last week we started to use the Spelling center."
Jack- "We went over subjects and predicates."
Dan- "In writing we are learning about linking verbs."

Social Studies
Emerson- "We wrote down qualities of good citizens."  "We made make believe people that will be in our town."

Other Stuff

Nick- "Today we had Homeworkopoly!"
Joey- "Today we are going to pick tickets from the fishbowl."
